My practice is multi-disciplinary, with a strong focus towards object-making. Drawing, printmaking and textiles are also integral. Working in a project-oriented manner, I seek to create bodies of work that form a poetic, emotive and psychological narrative. Drawing influence principally from my personal history as well as found objects, literature and psychoanalytic texts, subjects such as time, loss, memory and the domestic space are recurrent.
Whether embroidering on a large scale or harnessing traditional printmaking techniques, the majority of my work takes months to resolve and complete. In this way I am consistently engaged in ideas about craft and labour.
